Born in Grosseto on July 13th 1962.
Married to Simonetta Demarchi, who is also a manager and hotel consultant, with two children: Carolina and Filippo.
Qualified in Hotel Management at the Istituto Pellegrino Artusi of Chianciano Terme.
Hotel Manager, employed in the sector for over 30 years. In the course of his career he has worked for some of the most prestigious European hotels where, combining natural talent with operational capabilities and an acute sense of management, he has guided the companies managed with success and high standards of quality. The first experiences date from 1977, working in classic hotels such as the Francia & Quirinal in Montecatini Terme, The Savoy London in London, the Vier Jahreszeiten in Hamburg and the Lancaster in Paris.
Young and determined, sure of his capabilities and of the involvement of those around him, at just 26 years of age he takes over the management of the “Altri Tempi” restaurant of the exclusive Villa Sciacciapensieri in Siena.
In the autumn of 1989 he is offered the management of the restaurant at the “Locanda dell’Amorosa” in Sinalunga, where he will remain with great success until 1997.
In the winter of 1997 he moves to Prague, taking on the job, on behalf of Casa s.r.o., of General Manager in all the phases of planning and realization of the “Ostroff” project. Under his direction the “Ostroff” restaurant is soon considered an important meeting point in Prague, frequented by high level management and international diplomats.
Once the “Ostroff” project is completed, from November 1999 he dedicates his energies to the management of the hotel “Castello di Spaltenna” where he covers the post of Food & Beverage Manager for the first year, before being promoted to Manager from the second.
In 2003 he is nominated General Manager and in November 2006 takes his place on the Board of Directors of Spaltenna S.r.l., being nominated as Administrator, a role which has covered till November 2012.
Today manages the family hotel and is dedicated to consultancy and hotel training.
